was born in Liaoning, China in 2007 and fortunately survived congenital Hirschsprung's disease in a single-parent family. At 14, he immigrated to Washington State to live with his mother, despite having little knowledge of English. He is passionate about promoting social diversity and equality and utilizes his expertise in coding, policy, leadership, and entrepreneurship to advocate for these causes.
He founded The Mental Tree, a nonprofit organization that provides equitable access to mental health resources for youth. The organization has resonated with thousands worldwide through proactive online engagement and steadfast support. His mental health advocacy reflects a nuanced understanding of Gen Z's psychological landscape.
As the founder of Pierce County High School Democrats, he aims to unite individuals who share progressive ideals and promote resilience in a changing society. He works to create collaborative opportunities within the county and serves as a liaison between youth empowerment and political efficacy. As a county chapter representative, he has collaborated with legislators and officials to effect meaningful change.
He is recognized by his community as a leader in youth advocacy and volunteerism, championing causes such as environmental justice, LGBTQ+ rights, immigrant welfare, disability inclusion, and sustainable development. His portfolio of successful initiatives, undertaken with organizations such as YMCA, Asian Pacific Union, and Seattle Aquarium Marine Science Club, highlights his commitment to societal improvement.
In addition to his altruistic work, he enjoys basketball and running. As a committed community volunteer, he has been awarded the Varsity Letter in Community Service twice.
